Mario Puente III

Mario Puente III is SandTech Solutions’ Chief Technology Officer.

He is a cybersecurity executive and program leader with more than 15 years of experience in cyber defense, incident response, threat detection, security assessments, cloud security, and federal technology environments. He has led multidisciplinary teams and advised organizations on cybersecurity risk, compliance, Zero Trust, NIST frameworks, and emerging CMMC requirements.

Prior to and alongside his current leadership role at SandTech Solutions, Mario has supported Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection missions in program management, network defense, incident response, and enterprise security operations.

Mario holds multiple industry certifications, including but not limited to PMP, CASP, CEH, Security+, and Certified Scrum Master.
