  OUR COMMUNITY

Giving Back

We believe that giving back to our community is more than a social responsibility—it’s just part of the fiber of who we are. It enriches our company culture, makes us a stronger team, and keeps us humble. Our people are also involved in charitable fundraising, community volunteer projects, mentoring, coaching youth sports teams, mission work via their churches, and much more.

SandTech Solutions, LLC, contributed to the San Antonio community by providing backpacks and supplies to returning students at Northwest Crossing Elementary School.  On the first day of school, SandTech set up a table overflowing with supplies including notebooks, crayons, pencils, paper, and a large supply of boxes of face tissues. The tissues were a big favorite among returning students, parents, and school staff alike. “We always need these and can never have enough,” remarked one grateful Northwest Crossing teacher, “plus, not all families can afford the full list of back-to-school supplies, so there’s always a need for more supplies.”

Jose Sandoval, President, CEO, and Founder of SandTech, commented that not only was the project an important way to give back to the community, his staff had a lot of fun with the project as well. “The team made short work of assembling the backpacks from donated supplies from SandTech employees,” Sandoval remarked. Over 50 backpacks filled with supplies were delivered to students during the first hour of the school orientation period.  And the school coordinator for the project, Lorena Herrera (Vice Principal) was touched by how immediate the need was, noting “many families lack the income to purchase all the supplies at once, so programs like this are key enablers to the school’s success.”

SandTech Solutions is an 8(a) Service Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small Business based in San Antonio, and supports Federal Department of Defense contracts in San Antonio, TX;  St Louis, IL; Fort Meade MD; and Joplin, MO.
